The Aluprof aluminium systems are installed in many prestigious buildings all over the world

ALUPROF is a leader in its sector in Poland with 40% share in the Polish market of aluminium systems. For many years it has also counted among the top European aluminium systems manufacturers. It offers, among other things: window and door systems, façade systems, fire-resistant partitions, burglar-safe systems, roller shutters, gates, insect screens and individual solutions.

Showpiece elements of the urban landscape by Aluprof

Last year, the company delivered individual façade and window systems to one of the most interesting projects in Poland – the Mennica Legacy Tower. Thanks to a proper differentiation of the aluminium profile shapes and the technology of façade glazing, it was possible to arrive at varied visual effects on the particular elevations of the building, in accordance with the design assumptions.

The Mennica Legacy Tower, one of the most prestigious projects in Poland, is now being completed. The building has already got its final height of 140 m and finishing work is under way. For that building, ALUPROF S.A. – a leading Polish distributor of aluminium systems and one of the European leaders in that sector – developed tailored façade and window solutions, including the MB-SE80 MLT mullion and transom panel wall system, the MB-86 SI MLT panel windows, and the MB-SR60N MLT individual system of a mullion and transom wall.

Another building is the Maraton Office and Service Centre in Poznań, where the MB-SR50N HI+ mullion and transom façade system with improved thermal performance was applied. The building was recognised in the prestigious Eurobuilds Award competition. It was also announced to be the best office building in Poland.

In the Posejdon office building in Szczecin, completed at the end of 2019 – the first such structure in Poland with nearly zero energy consumption – unprecedented solutions regarding energy-saving have been applied. Combined with thermal insulation designed and built to the highest standards, it enables CO2 emission reduction to the atmosphere by 76% compared to an identical building made in the traditional technology. One of the key elements of the thermal insulation is the aluminium MB-SR50N HI+ façade system, with a structurally distinctive thermal insulation zone.

In 2019 the construction of an extended warehouse and logistics space in Bielsko-Biała was completed and the second vertical paint shop line was commissioned. The projects were a response to the growing market requirements in the area of production and logistic services. In the second part of the year the Research and Innovation Centre was opened in Ogrodzona. The Centre has been furnished with modern tightness test chambers and a laboratory furnace for fire resistance testing. This is one of only a few accredited laboratories of aluminium systems manufacturers in Europe. The investment in the Research and Innovation Centre is also a step towards the development and implementation of new products. Thanks to its own Centre, the company avails of faster testing and shorter lead time of new and individual solutions.

In 2019, a modern showroom was opened for our customers, where architects, manufacturers and customers may see Aluprof products in interesting arrangements.. 360° Showroom presentation

Currently, export sales account for 37% of the Aluminium Systems Segment (ASS) revenue. Aluprof sells its solutions to most of the European countries, but also to the USA or the UAE. The efforts of Aluprof are particularly dedicated to export markets. The current activities of the company have focused on that area.

The essence of the company competitiveness is its extensive expertise in aluminium systems production, individual solutions and technical support which is not offered by the western competitors. The double-digit sales growth rate was possible due to consistent efforts on the particular markets, a growing number of customers satisfied with the collaboration, gradual expansion of the product range both as regards architectural systems and roller-shutter systems, as well as offering finished products tailored to meet individual customer requirements on the respective markets. The fastest sales growth was recorded in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. Aluprof on other markets.

A strong position of Aluprof on foreign markets was also confirmed in January at the most prestigious fair in the sector of architecture and construction – BAU in Munich. On 14–19 January, the Munich Fair was visited by a quarter of a million visitors, out of which the record 85,000 were guests from abroad. All that contributes to the status of the event, perceived as the largest fair in architecture, construction materials and building systems.

In a space which was hugely limited by the organisers, the company created a spectacular exposition, which promoted the Polish brand product in many ways. A modern stand in the form of a window frame, its design referring to the Polish traditions, and a subtle exposition of the Aluprof system cross-sections attracted the visitors attention. A measure of the Aluprof brand success at the BAU Fair were the friendly relations with business partners, architects and sales representatives from all parts of the world. It was an effect of a great engagement of the whole team during the week spent in Munich, as well as a long-term company development strategy and effective operation of the company foreign branches. A symbolic summary was a selection of the Aluprof stand by architects from the World-Architects network as one really worth visiting.

The Top Brand ['Top Marka'] ranking is a result of a research carried out by the ‘Press’ Journal and the PRESS-SERVICE Media Monitoring Institute. It covers 500 brands in 50 sectors, classified on the basis of the number and type of media mentions devoted to the brands. Again, Aluprof took its place in the list of the strongest Polish brands

A year ago the Top Brand raking extended the scope of analysis for 39 sectors and 385 brands, becoming the largest such research carried out in Poland. Over 73 million releases were analysed (20 million more than a year before), either in press and online publications or in social media.

Aluprof – a European leader on the market of aluminium joinery – improved its rank compared to the preceding year by one position in the ‘Construction Materials’ category, taking the 7th place in this year's ranking. Aluprof also improved its position in the general ranking, becoming the 327th brand. The brand is constantly present in media due to its extended activity in various domains related to architecture, science, ecology, sustainable development and construction. It has also organised prestigious competitions for architects, and Aluprof aluminium systems have been incorporated in many prestigious buildings all around the world.

During the 18th Final of the CIJ Awards Poland competition, prestigious awards were granted in the sector of properties. Aluprof S.A. was a winner in two categories – Green Technology Solutions and Innovation of the Year.

The competition jury esteemed the MB-SE80 MLT panel façade system characterised with high resistance and good technical performance, and at the same time great aesthetics of the building elevations. The system was developed and implemented for the purpose of the Mennica Legacy Tower construction in Warsaw.

The double reward in the competition confirms the position of Aluprof as a leader in the sector of manufacturing innovative aluminium architectural systems. For many years, the objective of the company has been to constantly develop the technology in order to provide our customers with tailored and innovative solutions, which serve not only the users of buildings with inbuilt aluminium joinery but also the natural environment.

The company has long been a winner of prestigious sector and business prizes. Only in 2019, it received (among other awards): the Great Pearl of the Polish Economy, the Forbes Diamond, the title of the Building Brand of the Year, or a double award as the Leader of the Polish Joinery Sector. The manufacturer was included for another time in the TOP BRAND ranking and in the listings of the ‘Wprost’ weekly (200 Largest Companies, 100 Ambassadors, 50 Cheetahs), where it improved its position compared to the earlier years.

MPH DUAL pleated insect screen system

MPH DUAL is a member of the pleated insect screens family and extension of the product offer. The system has been designed as a two-leaf solution with the possibility of installing a corner screen without a stud. Thanks to that, the product may be applied in standard balcony windows which are as much as 6 m wide and 2.7 m high, and also in the growingly popular corner sliding doors of the HS type. The characteristic feature of the MPH DUAL system is the pleated mesh, which forms a concertina when closed and hides in the side profile. The system takes very little space and enables optimal space utilisation. The mesh is available in grey and black, to suit the customer needs. The structure of the insect screen is made of extruded aluminium, which gives it durability and resistance to weather conditions. It may also be painted to any RAL colour.

SM-SKYLINE sliding door system with concealed frame

The SM-SKYLINE sliding door system with concealed frame is based on narrow profiles, thanks to which the structure gains its modern and minimalist appearance.

The narrow frames are concealed in the walls, floor and ceiling. Also the leaves are fully aligned with the frame on the sides. The visible width of the door leaves connection is only 25 mm. The whole system represents a nearly uniform glazing with delicate dividing lines. Such door makes the building look extremely stylish and ideally fitting the trends of luxury construction, thus, increasing the rank of the whole project. Additionally, the system enables the use of doors weighing up to 750 kg and even 4 m high. This opens a space for the designers to arrive at spectacular glazing.
